Hi all. yeah, got it sorted it turned out to be the HP fuel pump that was the issue. changed pump.and all was good. i cleaned the tank and fuel lines and new filter, all was good for a few days then the turbo went so I sold it as was due to it needing a few bits done to suspension also.

Dual Mass Flywheel + Clutch - Brands and cost
Stevey Y replied to KarmaSur's topic in Audi Servicing and Repairs
Hi Sachs/LUK are the same company and are the only suppliers to most of the VAG group with the exception of Seat who use Valeo clutches on some models where the engines are SPA units. Steve. -
Hi if you ever get the screen replaced you would have to get the camera re calibrated the whole system is rubbish as even in the summer if the screen area around the lens gets dusty it comes up with lane assist unavailable, then when you clean the screen it comes back, if I were you I would turn the thing off every time I drive, when I bought my new cab this year it came with a new certificate of calibration, lucky me is all it ever does is keep yanking the steering every time you cross the white line to overtake a parked car or when it really goes nuts is approaching a roundabout with graded cross hatch lines for lane control to filter left or right, if I thought for one minute that my driving would rely on this I would hand my licence back and buy a push bike, the cheapest route, is forget about it. Steve.

The service may well have been within or near its normal schedule parameters. Difficult to tell without more information. I had a VW Passat Alltrack on lease and did 21k over 23 months without servicing on a long life schedule. It was sent back still not requiring a service. How long between the services?

Thanks Gareth The answer there is i don't yet know the oil consumption rate change as I only recorder the start and finish odometer reading and the total volume of oil consumed. I have begun recording the consumption rate now and should know within a few months whether it has increased or reduced. Regards Brian

Thanks again Michal, Did it actually say ‘without any faults’ in the advert, or didn’t it list any faults? You may find the CAB could be of help to you. Kind regards, Gareth.

Key will probably have to be sourced at Audi. Regarding the reverse camera speak on Audi retrofits or autologics as members have used them and been pleased with the results

They should deactivate once trailer plugged into 12 pin socket. Otherwise sensors should work. Assuming it's all been fitted properly then I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. If you need a towbar specialist I'd highly recommend buzz towbars. They sorted the wiring on my ford Kuga daily.

Does the replacement unit need coding I wonder? Or could it be an issue with the high pressure fuel pump?
