There is no added assurance whether I ask here on the forum, or whether someone lists a car on any platform. The burden of being cautious as a buyer or seller always remains with the buyer or seller. Nevertheless, I have purchased a 2021 RS6. Cheers

Personally id close the post entirely should anyone genuinely wish to sell a vehicle the best place to do so is using the appropriate market places in which provide buyer and seller protection at their own risk....

expensive car cheap windscreen - sounds about right
-
Nevertheless the tailgate should close in alignment with the opening even before the bump stops make contact, so I ask again if the hinges can be adjusted for a better fit? If they can not then I would be concerned that either the body or the tailgate has been damaged in a crash.

Cheers Magnet, unfortunately I took off the coolant tank this morning and couldn't find the sensor. It's either I've ordered the wrong sensor or I'm blind/ looking for the wrong thing. This is the sensor I've ordered.

The rubber bump stops don't actually touch so they arnt holding it up
-
Not sure. Only had the car a few weeks. Just on the right hand side it is slightly raised so the panal and the light cluster do not line up

What's the future, is there a future for my 2001 Quattro?
Peter Wight replied to Peter Wight's topic in Audi A4 (B5) Forum
Hello Kev, it looks like my posts contain certain key words where your motoring memories are concerned, such as Quattro and Avant. Also you probably agree that the engineering was better back in 2001. Now that my (Spanish) car has a new owner, I'm sure that his new vehicle will go on forever. My last letter to the club was a sort of sign-off and goodbye: the car was with a salesman specialising in LHD cars. Then I got a call from Mádrid: it could only be LInea Directa ( Direct Line) asking me to confirm that I own it no longer. Later the dealer described what, for me, was the buyer I'd hoped for. He lives in Kent (re ferries) and needs a bargain-priced conveyance to convey loads of stuff plus family to their casa in Alicante. The LHD man gave us a few hundred; he spent a few hundred more on servicing and sold it for £1300 just before the Spanish MOT ran out. So if you are sentimental about cars, you'll share my satisfaction in its escape from death in the scrapyard and a continued life in the sun. Yours sincerely, Peter. Goodbye everyone. -
Hello, just joined and posted a pic of my car and would appreciate any input on the subject. I can drive the car day and night normally and no warnings/lights ever trigger, it drives lovely and sounds very smooth. I do, however, experience something odd sometimes, not everytime, about 30-40% of the time. If I go above somewhere around 3500-4000rpm with the accelerator pressed, the car pulls like a train and shows no warnings, but when I return to idle, I get a low oil pressure warning. With the warning on the car still sounds and drives the same, smooth sounding with no strange noises from the engine. It only ever happens after a bit of hard acceleration and returning to idle, never while driving normally or idling after driving normally, and switching the car off for a minute and back on normally clears it until I accelerate hard again. The only strange noise from the car is always there regardless, and is a whine that increases/decreases with rpm and it happens both when driving and in neutral. Car has had both oil pressure sensors recently replaced, new oil pump, and an oil change using valvoline 5w30 and bosch filter. I have also just ordered a new low oil pressure sensor from febi bilstein, as I have heard sometimes the sensors tolerances can be out if they are not from a good source, and I have no idea where the mechanic ordered the last set from. I will be fitting that within the next few days. Any help/advice/clues on what it could be will be greatly appreciated, cheers!

Post a photo of your Audi
JetSetter1984 replied to Audi Owners Club.'s topic in New Members Introductions
Had this old girl for over a year now and have just joined the forum seeking advice, so thought I would post a pic too. Very tidy, 108k on the clock and still purrs like a kitten, no knocks/ticks etc, sounds nice. S-Tronic still operating well with instantaneous shifts and pretty smooth overall. -

2009 Audi A4 Suspension Issue – Bought from Dealer
cliffcoggin replied to Mark Valley's topic in Audi A4 (B9) Forum
Are you saying the testing station is part of the same business that sold you the car? -
Has the tailgate always been twisted, or is it a recent change in alignment? Perhaps it is the hinges that need adjustment.
-
That doesn't sound like it would be genuine ZF transmission oil for that price?

Hi - Thanks I have VCDS which is how I know there is a fault but it does not answer my original question, which side is No. 2? The connectors look brittle and I don't want to break into a serviceable system.

Can the tailgate be adjusted so the panel gaps align. By altering the rubber bump stops it don't make any difference. Just right hand side low

Alternator failure related to mild hybrid system?
DieSel-Q replied to PocketsAintEmptyCuh's topic in Audi A7 Club
That's a really, really important point for other worried drivers. The dealer told me that the Audi Used Approved / Audi all components cover Extended Warranty does not cover any fault deemed to be 'wiring'. Imagine how that's going to work when we're all driving Audi EV's - they are battery, motor(s) and lots of wiring. -

Alternator failure related to mild hybrid system?
StandFree replied to PocketsAintEmptyCuh's topic in Audi A7 Club
Hi everyone, long time lurker and first time poster. My 2021 RS7 with 24k miles would appear to have suffered BSG failure today. All the warnings mentioned in this post appeared almost at once and the car cut out soon after. Audi assist were with me within 30 minutes and confirmed the 12v battery is not charging. The car is being recovered to Stirling Audi tomorrow morning. I will say that the car has been faultless to this point and hopefully, with the information from this forum, the repair will be reasonably quick and at no cost to myself. I hope to update with good news soon, Standfree. -
