  2. The solution is, all RMC HW H61 needs to be :- 1. Firmware updated to enable DAB+ decoding 2. H61 swapped for a DAB+ working version. The vehicles affected were sold as DAB+ ready. It is 100% HW61 of the RMC MMI that is the issue.

My Audi Q3 DAB radio has also stopped working I can only get FM station has anyone been able to get any answers from Audi?

  6. As far as I know there is no sensible limit to the number of posts per topic. Realistically, until somebody discovers and posts a solution to the problem all one can do is add "me too" posts to increase the weight of evidence against Audi, and therefore is worthwhile even if there is no response. It seems to me, as somebody who is unaffected by the problem, that Audi, as the vendor of the affected equipment, has responsibilty for its faults no matter which subcontractor made the radio for them. That is my interpretation of the Sale Of Goods Act 1979, and its successor the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Hi all, Q3 2017, same issues as above! It can’t see what the solution is? Unless Audi do a callback and install new audio systems into all the effected vehicles (very unlikely), then it seems we just will have no radio stations in a few years once all the stations move to DAB!
  8. Hello you knowledgeable people, I always lived with the impression that an Audi S5 is faster than a Golf GTI, until last night when I learnt otherwise🤦‍♂️ embarrassing that was. Either I’m a bad driver or that car had been tuned up. I prefer the 2nd choice. Any S5 owners here that done any modifications to their cars, like Stage 1 or 2 or whatever to make their cars maybe quicker and more responsive? I know about cars but I know nothing about tuning, I’ve read some topics around but looks like opinions differ from one place to other. Would be nice if someone can recommend any garages, having taken the car and what the results were? As well as what the pros and cons are in doing such a thing. I live in East Anglia region so even better if there’s any place around me, don’t mind travelling but only if necessary to get the best result. Thank you in advance for taking your time and sharing some thoughts
  9. Me too - all comments had stopped which I thought was odd.

Thanks @cliffcoggin, I thought the previous thread had reached maximum posts.
  11. I am merging this thread with the existing thread. There is no point in having two topics with identical subjects.
  12. And Audi dealers will have lots of vehicles in stock and for sale with useless radios. They know there’s a problem.

@DavidNew I completely agree something should be done by Audi UK especially as my Audi model, and others who previously posted, states it is DAB+ compatible. Admittedly, it has only been 2 weeks since the issue seems to have occurred. I will wait for Audi to recognise the issue and hopefully to offer a correction (which should br at their cost) otherwise they seemingly have mis-sold their cars with functionality which isn't operational.
  15. Audi UK have stopped posting/ replying on their ‘X’ profile and the previous post on this issue maxed out at 160+ responses. Something will have to be done.

Hi, I also have an issue with D1 national DAB radio stations since 1st April. Currently the BBC and local stations are working through DAB. This definitely appears to be, as previous members have posted, a software /chipset issue with models quoted. Does anyone have the email address of Audi UK CEO? I think a direct email highlighting this issue may, hopefully, gain some traction to be resolved if person at helm has numerous contacts directed their way.
  17. It seems a previous thread has maxed out. Many Audi’s are no longer able to receive National DAB radio stations from 31.3.2025. It appears to be a DAB+ compatability issue Audi dealers seem unaware of the issue and are recommending diagnostic checks and have not admitted there is a widespread issue.
  18. How about considerably more description Andrew. There's no charge for the advertisement so the better the description, the better your chances of a sale.
  19. Hi Gareth, thanks for the reply and sorry for lateness getting back to you. By erWin i mean this site: https://audi.erwin-store.com/erwin/showHome.do I can pay a nominal amount (i think it's something like £8) for an hour then go get the info i need. I think this is more for repair manuals though than part ID but if i have understood i can get the part ID's from that then go and buy it. I am open to buying it from wherever i can really? I have found a few on eBay / <insert random site here> but when going into more detail the quality of the parts or the supplying vendor(s) are less than ideal. I'd love something where i can p[ut in my VIN and it simply returns the car in parts form and i can go hunting. Back in the day when i was in BMW (i know, sorry :)) there was a site called realOEM that did exactly this however i think that got nuked when the manufacturer eventually had enough evidence and clout to kill it. This is the page after loggin in where i can buy flatrate service: We can then see an example of what one of the PDF's might look like; in German for illustration purposes but will come in english, i think...
  20. Thanks Gill, Also try LLL Parts website where you might get an illustration, but it does sound like a DMF and possibly a main dealer part only. Kind regards, Gareth.
  21. Hello Everyone, I have an Audi TT Quattro 180 for sale no MOT spares or repair drives: Blue Leather Alloys Manual New Clutch 2001
  22. OK Thank you very much 😊
  23. Thanks I’ll revert once I get the car back from the garage and let you all know hat the issue was and how it got resolved

  25. Sorry to hear of your problems Dai, By all means advertise it on here and include full details and price, but please do not restrict your advertising to this forum. Use Autotrader, EBay etc. etc. and others you can think of as well. Kind regards, Gareth.
  26. Liam. Look at recent forum history to find dozens of similar complaints.
  27. Probably blocked EGR valve. Code is P2002. If it’s under warranty, I’m assuming this is not main dealer but independent garage. Blocked EGR valve not necessarily reflective of previous owner, but start stop short run journeys won’t have helped. If EGR doesn’t sort it, then you might need DPF flushed. Full VCDS scan will reveal more as it could be a DPF pressure sensor or blocked AdBlue injector. To be honest I’d investigate further and check air intake manifold. The garage in question will need to spend a little time on labour and a gasket, but that’s belt and braces approach.
