Hi Richard I have the same problem, cannot get it linked to my iphone, keeps going around in circles. I did manage to get it connected to my Ipad though. If you have another device it might be worth trying that. I haven't managed to transfer it from my ipad yet and it doing so I cannot now get back into the ipad. If you do find a solution please post it here -

Just an update on the situation turns out the egr valve is totally f**cked, all the intake system including head was badly carboned up,dpf I took off & had flow tested & was clear, all 4 injectors were badly scorched on the tips, tested fine ,but were also worm 0.5mm where the washer sits so were never going to seal properly. when I was told the injectors were badly scorched I decided to take the head off & get it pressure tested ,skimmed & cleaned (still waiting to get it back) so now hopefully when she is all back together that will be the end of my injector popping problem.

Just thought I'd share this link for replacing the window regulator in an A6 C5 as it's the most helpful one I've found. Very clear instructions and tells you which Torx bits and rivets you'll need. The whole process took me about two hours start to finish and I was taking my time to ensure everything was correct. Hope this helps anyone contemplating the same repair. How To: Replacing AUDI C5 RS6 Window Regulator!

Window regulator done now. I'll start a new thread and attach a link to the best YouTube video I found, very clear instructions and tells you what Torx bits and rivet sizes you need. I'll do likewise for the key reprogramming too, worked first time for me and again, very clear instructions. Just the broken wires in the passenger A pillar loom to sort now which I've got to admit I'm really not looking forward to.

Yeah, several, they don't fit even though the say they do, they don't. I feel there's a gap in the market for A3/S3 vert spoilers

Hello everyone. I am in the market for an RS6 avant, 2020 onwards. I recently got rid of my 2019 c63s and making the switch to the rs6. Are there any members looking to sell their RS6? I am looking for a 2020 onward, in nardo grey or black. Under 40k miles. Options should include air suspension, pan roof, and sports exhaust. I have seen models for sale on autotrader for ~65k, being sold by traders. I am coming to the forums as I am looking to get one closer to the 60k mark. If there's any one here interested, please let me know. Thank you.

Check this thread. Do not drive it till it's fixed! As you can do more damage and end up with a more expensive repair.
-
I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. You could look at a second hand unit on eBay or similar
-
This will partly depend on the kind of mileage you do whether diesel or petrol would be best. Check service history for proof of cambelt and water pump change, gearbox oil change (especially important if automatic), check all electrical items work Including air conditioning and infotainment system. Check Hester to make sure temperature and blower is consistent, if it's not it could be an issue with the heater matrix Check buyers guides on YouTube

Cheers bro

Glad you got sorted 🙂

I'd say you're probably right either your assumption. You could also get a diagnostic test to see if any fault codes flag up -
I think you'll need a replacement compressor. Make sure all the wiring is checked first etc to make sure that's all ok.
