Hello, There is a drain located below the fuel cap. It is visible when you open fuel flap and is just at the bottom of the rubber collar that sits kind of under/around fuel filling "pipe". Mine is blocked and water is collecting in the space under the fuel flap. Does anybody know where this drain comes out under the car? I have tried pushing a flexible wire through it from the top to unblock it, but was not very successful although I was able to push quite a bit of the wire through. I thought I could maybe tackle it from the bottom end if anybody knows where it comes out.

That's the issue though - getting a clear diagnosis from Audi, unless the car has totally failed and been towed in. If it's intermittent or failing, rather than failed, you will have to be patient, while the dealer, afraid of not being reimbursed, jumps through hoops with your car to satisfy Audi UK. It *should* be straightforward to apply the 7 year warranty, but dealer actions say it isnt.

Thanks, you are right it is in the manual for the MyAudi app and it allows you to use the auto hybrid button which is the first click of the EV button but I was expecting a second click to change it to battery hold ! Very strange that a fundamental for efficient use of the EV ( when running long journeys in to towns / cities ) is not there or just not easy to find.

Hi if you are swapping to a buttoned wheel from non buttoned you will need the donor wheel and associated wiring loom and possibly another body control module which will leave it needing to be coded in to the new BCM to get it to work. Steve.

Hi more likely to be a sensor for the climate control.

I wonder is there any wiring and buttons to convert non button steering wheel ?

@cliffcoggin do you know of any way of escalating this with Audi? That is, if they aren't already aware by now as it seems to be a widescale issue.

If bought within the last 30 days take it back to the dealer who should fix it free of charge. The 1.4 is know for fuel rail issues. Have you seen proof in the service history of gearbox oil changes? Have you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up?

I'd recommend looking at buyers guides on YouTube. Check service history for proof of gearbox oil changes etc.

My audi q3 2018 SDL national channels stopped working? All other channels work.

Hi Mark try to scan your areas local channels and see if you have any luck with them most of us affected can play the local ones but not the national ones

I have an Audi A3 2015 Automatic 1.4. I bought it last month. When I take the car from parking couple of times the car just jumped from E1 to E2 suddenly, which was supposed to be a smooth hear change. Also some times the car revs to 3000 rpm for some seconds without changing gear. Haven't used Audi or Automatic much before. Curious to know any thing wrong?

I've an A6 with factory fitted radio and have the same issue. Sure it started about a week or so back, but I don't drive every day so cannot be exact. Seems odd that all our radios stopped playing DAB channels at around the same time? Mine stays tuned to Planet Rock almost exclusively, so I cannot comment on other stations going offline the same time. That said, I've since tested it and don't have any DAB channels playing at all now. I've not tried any sort of reset, even though a couple of searches have suggested that. Be interesting to see if anyone else has this issue. Clearly not a geography or model of car issue.

I think you need a clear diagnosis from an Audi dealer that it is the BSG with the correct reference that requires replacing and that your car’s PR code is 9G8. if that is the case, the extended warranty is engaged and Audi should fix it. in my case, the failure occurred in France but I qualified under the extended warranty. I paid the French Audi dealer and was reimbursed.

Will do, like you say too coincidental. The fact it's the same issue and timeline makes it look like a tech glitch or in need of a software update.

No. I'd say either the lacquer is too thin to spread around sharp edges or the preparation/priming was inadequate.

You'll need the wiring harness for the buttons. My advice would be to take all the parts from donor/breaker car.
