gwebstech Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Hi all Ive just bought my 1st Audi - a 2006 a4 sl ine quattro. Lovely car, what a great drive! Just got a couple of niggles - ive noticed today that i cant put a cd in the symphony stereo. Its not got a multi cd changer as far as i know, so im assuming its a Symphony I? the cd player just wont grab or accept a cd so i can only assume its broken. So im wondering about adding an MP3 connnection instead -can i add this to my stereo if i remove it and get to the back or do i need to upgrade it to the Symphony II? either way whats the best way to connect something so i can play mp3? thanks for any advice Gaz
A3cabriojoe Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Hi Gaz not familiar with the model but have you got a jack plug socket by the handbrake? that would be good for iPod
Steve Q Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Hey Gary, welcome to the forum. You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I'd say if the CD player has failed within the radio unit then it might be worth upgrading to symphony 2 anyway. You should be able to plug in aux or USB into the back of the radio. Cheers Steve
gwebstech Posted January 29, 2018 Author Posted January 29, 2018 Hi Steve Thanks, thats what id read about the stereos, but i just wanted to make sure myself.
