LED number plate lights

Help! I've bought 2 sets of led's for my 8p 2006 2.0T fsi s line. Canbus and non canbus. Both throw up faults and i'm frustrated and don't know what to do next. I've seen same year as mine and older with leds. What am i doing wrong??

Welcome to the forum Terry, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) 

Forgive me but are you trying to change your current bulbs for leds and is this front or rear?  or are you trying to fit led day time running lights?
