Steve Q Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Welcome to the forum Erez, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I believe you can plug an aux into the back of the radio :) In terms of parts eBay might be a good idea :) We would love to see pictures of your a3 in Israel! :) Cheers Steve
erez Posted February 8, 2018 Author Posted February 8, 2018 hi Steve Q thank you so much i don`t think there is AUX in the back , maybe someone from the forum bought a connector or some adapter that they can recommend me ? also, can you tell me if there is a common problem with the electric windows in the model?
Steve Q Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Sorry, I should have been more specific. You can plug a connection for the aux into the back of the radio and then fit the aux socket can be installed on the dash. A good place to fit.the aux socket is in one of the switch blanking plates near to the esp light. So the first pic shows the blanking plates below the left air vent. As you can also see, once the radio is out of the dash you can plug the aux connection in the back. The second pic shows the type of aux you can fit. I've also found this YouTube video which may help. I'm assuming you don't have satnav. Do both front windows not work or just one? Great pics! I'll add them to our Audi's from around the world thread :) Cheers Steve
erez Posted February 8, 2018 Author Posted February 8, 2018 thank you as i see from the video this is not my audi concert stereo my stereo is single DIN
cliffcoggin Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 I was keen to do something similar a year ago but the concensus was that it was not possible. Since then I have found that kits are available such as these www.xcarlink.co.uk/product.php?productid=22&cat=4&page=1 Youtube videos show how to fit such kits and they appear to work, so I expect to install one if I can find a way to hide the cables and adapter. 1
erez Posted February 10, 2018 Author Posted February 10, 2018 keep me posted if you success to install i`m hopeless :( and without good music
cliffcoggin Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 Will do, but it's likely to be few months when the weather is warmer.
