Audi music interface

Hi

i would like to put AUDI MUSIC INTERFACE into my A8. Is it possible to remove my cd changer in the glovebox and replace it with the AMI unit or is there another way? 

I have read there is normally the ami socket in the glovebox or under centre armrest which I have looked but no socket unfortunately.

i thought I would just pick peoples brains first before buying the ami unit or retro fit kit As I am not sure?

What mmi have you got ? On your car should be 3g or 3ghh ?
