WPAWS Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 Today i gave my exhaust tips a clean with little effort or cost using a simple kitchen scrubber water and washing up liquid
Steve Q Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 Looks good Paul :) I used to use brasso which did Wonders on chrome :)
WPAWS Posted February 25, 2018 Author Posted February 25, 2018 All i will say is wear gloves lol the amount of deposit that came of them i had to scrub my nails
Adbro Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 Nice work Paul. I use alloy wheel cleaner(WonderWheels) on the tips. Apply with the brush supplied and rinse off. Do it at the same time as cleaning wheels so it takes no time at all
niedzial1983 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 Soot around tips is good sign of no dpf :)
J Con Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Check out Britemax twins range for your exhaust tips..Nothing has come close to beating it 1
Abliew Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 It looks beautiful. I did not know that it is so easy to do it yourself.
Dan3222 Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Cillit Bang is also excellent for doing this and alloy wheels. But best of all is polish wheels with normal car polish when they are clean they stay easy to clean for ages after that. Never tried polishing the exhaust tips though!?!
Delberthot Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 I use Autosol Metal Polish. Toothpaste sized piece onto some kitchen towel and then rub around the tip. You can feel the heavy deposits coming away as you go and it only takes a couple of minutes 1
