Steve Q
Obviously your car is at risk but I'd say the risk is low. Better to get it done sooner rather than later. Cheers Steve
paxterg
Got the recall too, pain in the a55!
SeanA4
Same here. With the amount of mileage ive done since September it's going to need a service so I'll tie it in with that if I can.
Benjamin
The recall takes an age to complete! I managed to amalgamate mine with my long life service due in 3 weeks time. When I asked how long it would take, they advised to allow a working day. Also, I was informed the heater element reaches it's upper limit and then triggers its thermal cut-out. So hopefully no fires!

That's good then, it's always good to combine the work to save trips to the dealer! :)

Ste H
I’ve had this done the other day on A4 avant- 2014 and I’ve noticed now that I’m getting a left dipped headlight / main beam fault coming up with a bulb picture and a x through it. The front light bulb still comes on for a bit then goes off again. Could they have knocked a part or sensor when they fixed the heater issue? The headlight was fine till they messed

You should see if they'll do a diagnostic check for free to see what fault codes flag up but good luck and let us know how you get on. james brown
Anyone else had problems after recall.
Ste H
They said the bulb has gone and needed a new one? Maybe it’s just a coincidence that it went the same time as the recall anyway they wanted over £200 for a xenon bulb so got one off the net for £66 same Philips one as that came out
