Geewizz12 Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Hello all, new to Audi ownership, A4 Avant, and a question already. Have a good (few miles) set of winter tyres currently on XC90 wheels. Looking to buy some wheels to swap tyres onto but will A3 wheels fit? The stud pattern is the same but centre bore is smaller, 57.1 instead of 66.5.
niedzial1983 Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 It is possible. Usualy ppl buy steel cheap rims for winter tyres so they dont get damaged by salt etc or curbed on icy roads , at least that is very common in europe :). What size are the tyres ?
Geewizz12 Posted May 5, 2018 Author Posted May 5, 2018 Avon Ice touring, 205/65 R16, which measure about same diameter/ circumference as 18' s fitted because more rubber less wheel. Will smaller centre bore be an issue, does the B9 A4 have larger hubs?
