Graeme19 Posted June 10, 2018 Posted June 10, 2018 Hi All, I recently bought a 2015 A3 T FSI SE Sportback (ex fleet or lease) from CarGiant. First car I've had with an electric parking brake and I'm not sure if it is working correctly, or I am just not used to it yet. As I understand it, the EPB shouldn't release until the is sufficient revs for the car to pull away. However I find that when the clutch is raised by the slightest amount, the EPB releases, cause my car to roll back on even my fairly shallow drive way. I know Audi advise holding the EPB on when pulling away on a steep hill but this is not what I would call a steep slope. Also a few days ago I tried to pull away without 1st gear being fully engaged, the EPB released when there could not have been sufficient power to the wheels. Any advice would be appreciated, it may be I am just not used to it, but would like to rule out any problems. Thanks.
