SQ5 brake pads

Hi all,

New here and this is my first post.

I have a '16 SQ5 and my rear brake pads need replacing.

I've been quoted £245 to supply and replace them. I have no idea of the cost of this sort of thing on this type of vehicle, so I'm just wondering if that sounds about right for an Audi Dealership cost?

for an Audi dealership it sounds about right their labour charges are around £100 plus an hour

OK thanks. The service guy said it would take an hour, so that put the two pads at £145, does that sound reasonable?

sounds about right m8 its because of their labour costs i use an Audi independent garage plus my car is a 2007 so i`m not to bothered about service history as i will be keeping this car till it dies or it becomes just to expensive to maintain

Cool, thanks very much for your input. I suspected it was about right for a main dealer, just wanted to be sure.

Sadly as it's still in warranty etc.. I wouldn't feel comfortable using an independent at the moment, but would in the future.

Makes perfect sense to use Audi when your car still has warranty all looks good in the service book 🙂
