Hey everyone, I've just purchased a 2011 Audi a4 B8 black edition. I love the car I've made the move from previous Nissan cars for something for solid and reliable. My only issue with the car is a very small bit on rust on the rear left arch. Does anyone have any advice on how I could nip this in the bud early? I will attach pics. Cheers

Welcome to the forum Kyle, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂

lovely looking a4 you have there. In terms of rust it'll need sanding back to metal then respraying.

cheers

Thanks Steve I think il take it to a body repair specialist and get it repaired before it spreads any further. Do you have any idea in the rear led lights have a removable outer cover on them? Just noticed mine is cracked. Cheers

Thanks Joe. I don't regret the move to Audi one bit. Thoroughly enjoy the drive.

I think you'll have to replace the whole unit if I remember correctly

White knight yeah mate the build quality etcis a world away from Nissan. Lovely car. Mine is the 2.0 tdi 134bhp. Looking at specs the mpg urban is ment to be 52mpg however I'm getting 35mpg being very light footed. Any ideas if this mpg is normal anyone?

Hi Kyle

The makers specs never come true cos they are done in smooth controlled conditions.

I have a similar engine in my A3 with auto box & get about the same as you round town if that's any help.

on a long non motorway run it's about 50mpg.

Cheers Joe. I'm ok with 35mpg around the doors it's still better than my qashqai was on fuel so I'm happy. Cheers
