Can anyone tell me what this is supposed to do?

Can anyone shed any light on what this is supposed to do? It’s above the MAP sensor.

I currently have an airbag warning light and my ac fan does not work so overheats when stood still.

any help appreciated

Is that not the fan wiring? Have you got any other pics of it in relation to the engine bay. If that makes sense?
