Headlamps for exporting from UK to Europe

Apologies if asked before, but I have bought a 2011 A3 convertible which I am going to have in my house in France - therefore I am needing to change the headlights to European versions - does the car have a switch to do this or do I have to buy new headlights ?  If so, any recommendations as to where to purchase them from - thanks very much

New lamps will be needed Mark. Years ago you could buy clip on beam deflectors for Continental use, there were even yellow ones for France, but I have not seen them for sale in ages.  Possibly they are not even legal any more.

Try eBay, a lot of European companies sell on there anyway so your bound to find a set. Sometimes not sure if it still is but there was a switch behind the headlight itself when you remove it and the plastic covering
