Oil sensor

Can anyone tell me if the oil sensor if fails cause the speed monitor to fail?i had a new sensor fitted and the speed monitor seems to be working now

i don't believe the sensor ls are connected in my opinion.

Hi Steve and thank you for your reply , my car seems to be fine now, it’s like the electrical fault sorted itself , since I had the oil sensor done
