Audikonik Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 I have a 2006 Audi A3 1.6 8P and my rear wiper motor packed up recently (the usual rust had seized it up) so I have taken the boot interior off and removed the old motor with the intention to fit new one today. The rear washer jet has never worked since I have owned it (assumed blocked as per usual) I can hear the pump working but nothing coming out. So I thought I may as well fix it whilst replacing the motor. I have read all the previous forum resolutions to this but just a quick question Does the pump not work with the boot open as now I have removed the washer jet and motor and wiper arm, I assumed my blockage would have been at jet level and water would come out of the tube but I cant seem to get the pump to work now? Is it because the boot is open or am I looking at a blockage in the tube or worse and packed up pump. Just to note the front jets are still working fine but I think there are separate pumps for front and back washers. hope this makes sense Mat
