Hi all!

Im a new member and I would like to introduce myselfd

My name is Marnix, and I live in Colgone (germany). 

I joined the UK forum because I don't speak german yet... haha

Two months ago I bought my A4 B8 Avant from 2011.

Its the smallest of the TDI's (120hp) but all i can say is that 180kph is no problem on the Autobahn and it drives like a dream :D

I do however, have an ulterior motive to my introduction though... ;) 

I was wondering if it is possible to retrofit a projector headlight system with halogen light bulbs into the car. (I know the first part is possible)

I don't want Xenon because this is too expensive as I would also need to install an OEM  projector housing, an OEM automatic leveler and an OEM headlight cleaning system according to German traffic law, which would run me between 2,000 and 3,000 euro and that is for me, not worth it. Conversion kits are illegal.

Now my question is: Is it at all possible to fit the projector headlights with higher power halogens?  Like the Osram Nightbreaker or the Phillips Racing View? or do i have to abandon the idea of LED DRLs?
