Critical_mass Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Hi all, I've searched online and not really found anything definitive. My question is - Is it possible to replace the rear springs on an Audi A6 C6 without the one sided spring compressors. I do have spring compressors but read you need the type that have the disc that sits on the spring coil and attaches on only one side. or could you undo the control arms and drop the spring that way? Thanks.
niedzial1983 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 I had my rear springs changed last month , both broke, 100£ at a local garage I do belive you need to compress them
Critical_mass Posted October 8, 2018 Author Posted October 8, 2018 No other way but to you compressors on them then? i cant just disconnect an arm or two? Appreciate the reply
