Hi all, I purchased a 2014 (63) Audi A3 Sportback, 2.0 TDI, Quattro, S-Tronic from Audi Finchley Road in London. On inspection of the vehicle I saw the pssanger side headlight wasn’t flush so they replaced it. Within a few days of having the car I noticed the MMI display would make a ticking noise as if there was something moving inside, alongside this I could heard a loud humming noise and felt a vibration of the car whenever I travelled at 70+MPH. Then within a month the new passenger headlight became fused.

Audi took my car in (after a long battle with them) and said they put in a new cambelt and 4 new tyres to fix the humming and vibration issue, changed the bulb in the headlight and said they removed, tightened and refitted the MMI.

All issues remain apart from the headlight problem. Taken it twice back and the MMI is still ticking, the vibration keeps coming back but not as bad as it previously was and now the drivers side headlight has fused - however the warning light keeps coming and going for the light and when I check the vehicle the actual bulb from outside is sometimes on and sometimes off.

Has anybody had any issues like this? Audi are refusing my right to reject the vehicle for the MMI ticking noise and the car vibrating at 70+ MPH as “wear and tear”.

can anybody help?
