I've recently acquired a lovely 2013 plate A5 Cabriolet and with the latest downpours I have got a very small leak. Upon investigation it would appear the right hand metal pillar trim is lifting at the top corner - It doesn't "click" if I push on it, but I would have guessed it should have a some sort of clip underneath? Can anyone throw any light on how easy or not this will be to fix. I have an extended warranty on the vehicle, is this likely yo be covered? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Hi Andy, welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂

if you've just bought the car then I'd recommend taking it back as they shouldn't have sold it with a leak in my opinion.

cheers

Thanks for the reply Steve, not sure I will get anywhere with that as the car is bought "as seen" and I can't be sure the trim was like it at the time of buying, I had a good look over it and didn't see the trim raised, so it cold have happened since, no way to prove it. But I have taken out a platinum warranty on the car so I am going to see if they will cover the repair.

Cheers
