Hi all, I’ve been a member of an L200 forum for the past 6 years but now that’s going and I’m getting a Q7 so i can question you lot for the next several years!!

im looking at a 2008 Q7 tomorrow, it’s done 70,000 miles with full service history. I was just wondering if there is anything I should be looking out for or if there is any major work that should have been done by the 70,000 mile mark?

any advice greatly appreciated

chris.

Hi Chris the q7 is an amazing vehicle. Make sure everything works as parts can be very expensive this includes the suspension ride height settings etc.

Heres a YouTube video which may help:

Sorry mate just seen your message! I did buy it and I love it but I’m having issues with battery drain. It’s a right pain in the !Removed!!

Battery drain and slow starter motor speed can be down to earthing straps between engine and body. Check / clean all earthing points on the loom, Also keep an eye on drains from sunroof (If fitted) can cause damp related electrical issues. Lots of tips on here.
