DTR Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Does any body know if the car will tell you when I need to top up adblue? She is a pre facelift, thanks in advance.
Envy Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Warning should come up on the dash - although 2011 is early for AdBlu to be a feature. https://www.whatcar.com/news/what-is-adblue-and-does-your-diesel-car-need-it/n16545
DTR Posted February 14, 2019 Author Posted February 14, 2019 I didn't know it was add blue till I went to put fuel in it and there was a adblue cap beside the diesel cap 🙄
DTR Posted June 5, 2019 Author Posted June 5, 2019 I rang Audi (belfast) and they said that it was early to have adblue (Sept 2011) but the fella said if its beside the fuel cap it must have it and that it should bring a dash light up when near out. So I'm wandering how many miles do you get from the adblue tank when it's full, as I have done 6,000 miles on car since buying and I haven't seen any dash lights yet.
Envy Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 AdBlu does not last as long as Audi would leave you to believe but I have found my A6 drinks around 10 litres every 8k miles. I buy mine form Amazon - just paid under £13 for 20 litres. Always deals around but this is the best so far.
