ESP AND ENGINE LIGHT ON DASH

Hello all the engine light came on the dash changed the MAF still on ESP light came on told by a garage the abs pump has gone needs new one .iam 

going to put the OPD on it see what code comes up with just a thought would the engine light be on due to the ESP , HELP PLEASE THANKS PEOPLE
