Harch Singh Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 Got an issue with my Audi A4 2007 2TDI cabriolet S-Line with the automatic gearbox with paddles. Car sometimes starts and when it does not the the lights on the dash gear display flash across so when they flash across will not start. Had the AA guy around and he straight away said it was the manifold flap so i replaced and no change. I then wind the key to start again and again until the gear dash lights are bold and static as they I know the car will start. Sometimes could take 50 goes. When it then does start it comes up with the brake warning light sometimes. Had the diagonstic test and it came up with the following codes: 05975 & 49408. 05975- Supply Voltage Open Circuit P1757 Intermittent 49408- No communication with EngineControl Module (SAE: ECM) U0100 Intermittant. It mainly starts first time in day then when I need to start it again in day it plays up.
Magnet Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Hello Harch, Could you let us know whether ‘does not start’ means the engine is not being cranked over by the starting motor, or it is, but the car does not start? Kind regards, Gareth.
Harch Singh Posted September 24, 2019 Author Posted September 24, 2019 Hi Gareth, I am not certain which one it is as the car is at my dads house now. I believe it cranked over with the gearbox display flashing from the PND123S. What could the issue be with either?
Magnet Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Hello Harch, I think the forum needs a specific answer in order to offer any meaningful advice. Kind regards, Gareth.
