Georgia Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 My TT is showing several error message when driving which has gradually become worse over time. Initially all flashing up as errors at once was the ABS braking, Headlight range, Tyre Pressure. Sometimes the spoiler would also come up with a fault along with hill assist and rear parking sensors all at once. A local garage believe that it is one rear ABS sensor causing the problem and still believe it was fine to drive until replaced. However since then along with the errors above, the speedometer has stopped working and remains at 0 when driving, power steering stopped working, the parking break will not apply and there is an error message saying the breaks are faulty. Has anyone else had a similar problem, or have any idea what the issue could be? I’m not sure if I need to take it to an Audi garage instead of a local one? E92FE9CA-E484-43C3-87D8-21DD52FB28CA.MP4
Magnet Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Hello Georgia, Straight from the school of simple things first - I would advise getting the battery efficiency checked first. Yes, I appreciate the car is only four years old, but all systems are now so dependent on the precise efficiency of all aspects of the battery’s efficiency. Batteries and service life:- so far this year, 15 month old (xxxx) battery failed - couldn’t even jump start it through the original battery! 3 year and 3 month old ‘prestige’ make with below spec. battery causing non stop/start and other issues. This is just based on my DIY year to date. Kind regards, Gareth.
