chris_elevate Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 I can’t locate the MMI socket in the glove box or under the middle armrest of my 2010 A4 s-line estate. Any ideas where it could be? I basically want to adapt my system so I can play Bluetooth music from my iPhone. Thanks
niedzial1983 Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 AMI socet :). If its not in the glove box then you dont have it
chris_elevate Posted October 7, 2019 Author Posted October 7, 2019 Haha... AMI Yeap 😂 Thanks so much for the reply. Oh so not all models have the AMI socket? Any rhyme or reason as to which do/don’t? Is there any other way (other than aux cable) to play my phone music through the system? Preferable without cables.
niedzial1983 Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 It was a paid option. And yes you can retrofit ami depending of the set up ? Do you know what mmi you have ? This might help https://upgrademyaudi.net/tutorials/how-to-check-what-mmi-do-i-have-mmi-2g-3g-3g-types-of-audi-navigation-systems/
chris_elevate Posted October 9, 2019 Author Posted October 9, 2019 Cool, thanks. Just looked at that link. I don’t have a control wheel below my gear stick, only the one on the front below the symphony unit. Does this mean I don’t have a MMI setup? is there a way to add Bluetooth music playing? I have my phone connected but only works for calls.
Lama Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 did you ever figure it out? im facing the same now on my 2011 A4
