LukeXF Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 Hey guys, I have an Audi A1 1.5litre 35TFSI S Tronic automatic S-line purchased in April 2019. My mileage is on 9305 miles current and I phoned up my local Audi garage to find out when I should have my first service. Services plan offered: 2 services, 2 oil changes, 1 pollen filter change (normally £711), £468 on a plan. They said I don't need a service until 2 years (April 2021) or 19,000 miles, which ever is sooner. Then the next one at 38,000 miles or April 2023. I feel a service every two years is a bit too long? My friend tells me oil should be changed every year at most. My old Toyota I used to get serviced every year, so this is why I'm posting. What are your thoughts? Any suggestions? Just trying to look after my car! Thanks, Luke
Gordz Posted November 2, 2019 Posted November 2, 2019 Hi, I have also been told 2 years or 19k service intervals. I have an A1 1.5 TFSI S-LINE manual, purchased March this year. On my wife's A3 after about the 2 year mark a message pop up on the dash display saying service was due. 2 year service intervals seems the norm on some models. I previously have 3 mini coopers and they all had 2 year service intervals. Came close to choosing the S Tronic how does it drive any issues. ( wish I had now ) My manual hesitates when pulling away in 1st gear, got dip the clutch or give more revs to stop it stalling, makes pulling out at junctions/roundabouts interesting.
