mrshaw Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 Hi, New to the forum and having an issue with the EGR valve on CJCA engine. Is this the valve and if so has anything removed it or is there any guides on how to? Thanks David
PaddyCam Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 Hi David, Just wondering how you got on with your EGR valve removal. I'm getting an EGR related engine code (P0401) and i would like to take mine off and clean if possible. Had you any success with yours? Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks, Patrick
Magnet Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 Unfortunately Patrick, David joined and last visited the forum on the same day! Might be worth sending him a PM? Kind regards, Gareth.
Bajoras Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 Hi, Did anyone tried to remove this part and clean? Got the same issue, P0401 error code. Got A4 2015 (CJCD engine)

Steve.
alpha omega Posted January 25 Posted January 25 thanks for the advice steve much appreciated i will try the dipetane.no i promise i wont go anywhere near the inlet valves after reading what you've put.thanks also for the advice on the egr my engine is similar cjcb i think.but without the dipstick. kind regards.stephen😉
