Ferret Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Noticed today my reverse lights don’t work on my 53 plate S4 estate with auto box. fuse and lamps are fine, so guessing it’s the switch? Where is it located though!!??
Steve Q Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 😊 Think you're right with your diagnosis of the problem. The switch is located on the gearbox. Here's a link with a diagram: https://audi.7zap.com/en/rdw/audi+a4+avant/a4/2003-249/9/919-919061/ Hope it helps Cheers Steve

I’ve had a wealth of German cars over the years, but this is my first Audi! Loving my S4. Cheaper fuel at the moment helps!😳 looks like the switch is located on top of auto box. I have yet to get it up on a ramp, but is it fairly accessible??🤔 kind regards jez
Steve Q Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 You're welcome 😊 glad you love your Audi. Glad you've found the switches location. I'm not sure how accessible it is unfortunatly. Cheers Steve
