Hello 

In a few days i see white exhaust coming out of the exhaust. At first i thought it was steam but it continued to smoke even when the car warmed up 😞Would you recommend me how to diagnose a problem or garage in Bournemouth area?Does not lose oil and antifreeze for now.I mean i own a car for 1 month

More qualified people on here than me that could help you further but I’ve always been told that it’s grey or blue smoke you should worry about as white smoke is usually steam- but then my logic asks why would steam come from your exhaust????
 

had a similar issue on a v8 Jag the questions asked then was 

is performance affected?

does it only do it when at idle?

or does it billow out white smoke as you drive?

most would assume water is getting into the pistons so check the oil and make sure it’s the right colour and not like mayo .check the coolant and make sure that has no oil or carbon in it.  you say it’s not loosing any so it could be nothing but worth getting it checked out. 
 

cant recommend anyone in Bournemouth as the guy in Charminster is no longer trading but there is a great guy in Salisbury who specialises in Audi VW on churchfields

At idle it smokes very little but when I force it it goes out more. Until the drive is visible in the mirror and I cannot judge 😞 Can i have the person coordinates from Salisbury?

Sounds like you have an issue

Auto Works on Stevenson Road churchfields industrial estate

note of caution: at least a 45 min drive at speed there- if you have a problem this could make it worse. Either get it towed to seek out an independent Audi VW guy in Bournemouth

You need to give us some more information - such as petrol or diesel. 

Would I be correct in believing it is a diesel?

If you are able to do so in the current situation:- 

Ensure coolant and oil are at the correct level when the engine is cold.

Then take the car for at least a 10 mile run and ensure the coolant temperature reaches normal and doesn’t overheat. 

Immediately on return, get an assistant to rev the car to a steady 2000rpm and hold it at this engine speed for 2 minutes while you observe smoke from the exhaust - and report back.

What's the meaning of that?

To drive it at 2000 rpm or on the spot?

The procedure seems pretty well described to me, but......

Drive the car as normal during its 10 mile road run.

Park the car, but do not switch the engine off.

’.....get an assistant to rev. the car...(while stationary) ..........at a steady 2000rpm and hold it at that (engine rev.) for 2 minutes, while you observe the smoke from the exhaust - report back to the forum with your findings.

Hope that procedure is described clearly enough.

.p.s. Try to pick a fairly dry weather interlude to carryout this test. OK, may currently be difficult now we seem to have lost our dry spell, but...

Today I did what you told me.I drove about 8 miles and then stopped and held it at 2000 rpm .There was no smoke today:)But the smell of oil in inside.Very strange that there was no smoke today because a few days ago it was sunny weather there was little smoke coming out??

OK. Useful additional information. 

This is a simple -free - test which is always worth carrying out.

So we don’t have any evidence of significant exhaust smoke during normal use. We don’t have any loss of coolant or oil (as you said earlier). 

Sounds as if there is currently little to worry about. 

You now mention a new symptom of a smell of oil, and if this were mine, I would be investing in an oil and good quality filter change, and asking the garage to check it in relation to the now oil smell, which might be associated with a slight leak.

I have the car  for 1 month and still have no fluid loss but the car is driven 4 miles a day no more.

Yes, OK.

Now up to you to keep an eye on it, and I think you would be wise to follow my earlier advice and invest in an oil and filter change, particularly since you’ve only had it for a month and do not tell us about any known recent service history.

4 miles a day is not good news, since the car hasn’t really had time to get up to operating temperature.

Ok I will follow well

Just to add that when i bought the car i changed the oil, air filter, oil filter, thermostat and fluid antifreeze. The oil is Shell helix ultra 5w-40
