Plamen Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 Hi all, hope you're all well and keeping safe! I would appreciate if someone could help me with this issue.. So, I went to refill my Air con and there was no any leaks or issues. The compressor works, blower works, fans are working and everything seems perfect. So far I have used the radiator heating and i had no problems, blowing and heating on any settings you like. However, I switched on the air con and still everything works except no air blowing at all, not on any setting - windscreen, legs, dashboard... Computer checked as well and no faults. Thank you in advance for your help!
Steve Q Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 First thing id check is that everything for the air con system has been tightened up. Then I'd inspect the condenser. In failing that it could be the controls. Cheers Steve
Magnet Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 Hello Plamen, Do you have an illuminated press button with ECON written on it, and if so is the red light showing? Kind regards, Gareth.
Plamen Posted May 11, 2020 Author Posted May 11, 2020 Hi guys, thanks for your replies. All checked including condenser, and seemed good, the ECON button red light shows when i press it. So probably is the controls i guess? As when air con is off and i start the heating, it works perfectly. And when I switch on the air con no air is blowing from anywhere. Again thank you guys! Regards.
Magnet Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 Hello Plamen, When you want to have the air co. on does the ECON button show the red light? Kind regards, Gareth.
Plamen Posted May 11, 2020 Author Posted May 11, 2020 Hi Gareth, Econ button doesn't show the red light. It will only if I press it. Plamen
Magnet Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 Thanks Plamen, Sounds good - air con. should only work when the button is pressed to its position where the light is off. You are probably now at a stage where you will need some specialist input. It’s a toss up whether you invest in an hour’s time with an auto electrician or an air conditioning specialist ( commercial vehicle air con. specialists are generally a good bet. Kind regards, Gareth.
Plamen Posted May 11, 2020 Author Posted May 11, 2020 Hi Gareth, Thank you very much for your time in helping me. I will keep you posted once fixed. Plamen
