Dan_graham Posted June 26, 2020 Posted June 26, 2020 Can anyone help me please, my 2014 Audi Q7 has lost steering and showing an altinator fault. Its virtually impossible to turn the wheel and is showing an altinator fault, and that the stop/start function has been disabled due to it. The car started with no problems but as I went to turn the wheel there was a big clunk and now has the above issues.
Magnet Posted June 26, 2020 Posted June 26, 2020 Hello Daniel, The first port of call has to be to get the alternator output checked, and equally importantly, the battery’s efficiency. It would be understandable that a six year old battery (if still on original) will be nearing the end of its serviceable stop/start life. Kind regards, Gareth. 1
