Headlight bulb connector corroded

Hi,

I would like to ask your opinion. Headlight beam lights bulb connector plug corroded. Need to be replaced. Can I just cut wires in the middle and reconnect new connector? Or it need to be done professionally in garage? Does it need to reprogrammed after? Thanks for any info. Ed

You probably could cut the wiring and got a new one, but I personally wouldn't take the risk and get a garage to do it.
