Rams Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Hi everyone, My SQ5 has had a rattle in the panoramic roof for over a year now. Its been back to the dealer 4 times now and had it lubricated etc etc. I told the dealer many times in the past that it was a known problem with SQ5 and I believed the solution was to replace the frame which is a big expensive job which they didn't want to do. It is now out of warranty and guess hat the solution is. Replace the frame £2700 + cost. They have offered to pay 75% but this leaves me with a bill of over £600 for an issue that would have been resolved in warranty if they had done as I suggested. I've initially gone back and said that's not good enough ask the manager for a rethink and they also say if they contribute I must give them a 5 star rating which sounds a bit like blackmail to me. Does anyone know what my rights are or had the same issue and successfully resolved? Thanks in advance
