Why are the red door panel lights that come on when you open the doors not working on my brand new Q5 tfsi e 55 competition

 There could be a variety of reasons, from programming to actual faults, but fortunately you don’t have to worry about it, or the reasons why, but simply return it to the dealer for them to sort it out for you under the warranty.
