Heathwood Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Hello,I am asking this question on behalf of my wife, who has a 69 plate A1. This is a basic question, but the vehicle clock seem to keep losing its time setting. After the clocks going back last week I used the touchscreen display set the time to the current time.聽 However the time setting lasted barely a day and it is now shoeing 00:00 instead of the current time. Has anyone else noticed this strange feature? All replies are appreciated. 馃檮 聽
Heathwood Posted October 30, 2020 Author Posted October 30, 2020 I suppose I should have looked further down the Forum to see that other people have these problems as well. Has this now been resolved I wonder? 聽
Steve Q Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 As it's a 69 plate, I'd advise getting Audi to have a look as it's under warranty. It shouldn't go back to 00:00 after you've set it.聽
Heathwood Posted November 9, 2020 Author Posted November 9, 2020 Thanks Steve, we will do exactly what you suggested. 馃檪
Graeme60 Posted March 26, 2021 Posted March 26, 2021 Hello,聽 i have a 20 plate and the clock randomly resets the time. The day date聽is unaffected. I have spoken to Audi who made me aware of a software update. I made an appointment then the dealer cancelled the appointment stating that the SD card with the software update was car specific and they had to order one in for me. 聽
SaverRate Posted April 3 Posted April 3 So turns out the software update required is 2060208/9. Dealer is charging 拢60 diagnostics plus 拢160.00 for the update聽

Or they used to be when I worked at Volkswagen聽

However this time they charged 2 fees with the 2nd discounted (I was told 2 issues were looked at so 2 fees). I wasn't impressed. I tried arguing it but to no luck.聽 I questioned it and was told Audi charge the dealership for software updates so take it or leave it.
