Spacer size for d2 alloys

Hi all I've got a stock 99 b5 avant and recently purchased some 17 inch 8j et48 wheels with 225,50,17 but front and rear rub on rear shock and front upper suspension not sure what size spacers to get 

Any help would be appreciated thanks

10mm  ones bud    or do what i have done  few washers on before the wheels

Thanks for being in touch. 

Recommendations regarding wheel spacers are always difficult, since it’s not only spacers which have to be considered, but the effect on the adequacy of the actual wheel studs/bolts in terms of length and strength. 

I must add that this forum would not support the use of a few washers as an alternative for this critical application.
