Cymruplayer Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Hi, I am a new owner of 2020 A6 50 TDI Quattro. Only covered approx. 500 miles and seems a lovely car alround. I've read about some of the issues with throttle response which I usually overcome with using the manual option when pulling a way from a complete stop but interested in reading on here around a software update to alleviate some of the lag. Would this be solely down to the gearbox or a mixture of that and some turbo lag? Anyway looking forward to contributing where I can and learning about the car. Regards, Tom
Toucanxoo Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 This is my 4th A6 in a row and with the diesel models they seem laggy. The 2 petrol models seem much more responsive off the line.
Bott Posted October 12, 2021 Posted October 12, 2021 My 40 tdi is exactly the same, pulling out of junctions ect isn't instantaneous, there is a pause, then the revs shoot up. I miss my 330d
