Sat nav in a4 2020

Hi all. I’ve just brought a nov 2020 a4 sline black edition and the maps aren’t installed. The nav button says licence not purchased. 
ive spoke to my Audi dealer and he tells me that you can’t buy it now only when the car is being built! Is this true?

Hi.....welcome to the Forum

Your dealer should be able to activate the nav system (for a cost) as it is just a software download and activation.
Try contacting another dealer if your one isn't obliging.

Hi. Yes it’s the main Audi dealer I bought it off that is telling me that

I agree with Trevor's comment. I'm certain your dealer can obtain and install maps for you.
