How to tell if an Audi A3 is a 8V or 8Y

Hello I have an Audi A3 Sedan S Line 35 TDI

it was built July 2020 and Registered February 2021

Im trying to find out is my model a 8V or 8Y

Audi made changes in September 2020 I believe.

Hi there the grill and headlights are larger on a 8y and the Bonet is more curved. Here's the comparison pics. Top 8v. Bottom 8y

If your car is the same design as the current new cars for sale then this is the 8Y. If not then you have the 8V.

Alternatively, look inside the front cover of the owners manual. It will have the 'warranty entitlement record' and all the details of the vehicle there. Cheers, Dan

If your car looks like the pic attached on the inside it’s a 8Y.

If not it’s a 8V
