2008 audi r8 r tronic , how to check power steering fluid correctly

Hi guys new to the ownership of a r tronic audi r8 2008 , I opened the power steering cap, and wasn't sure of i needed to top it up, as don't want to fill it if it don't need it 

Any help would be appreciated
