JimmyBee Posted June 1, 2021 Posted June 1, 2021 Hi I've seen a few posts about this - seems i'm not the first person to change the glove box (due to broken hinges) and then have the airbag light on in the dashboard (and also the orange ceiling light) If possible I'd like to fix myself but am a bit confused re what's needed. Vagcom is too expensive but would an OBD2 scanner reset and solve the problem or would i need specifically OBDeleven? Safety is obviosly the most important thing so i want to know 100% the airbag is working and i'm not just clearing the warning. Any advice appreciated, thanks! (If helpful this is for a 2002 cabriolet...)

JimmyBee Posted June 16, 2021 Author Posted June 16, 2021 Thanks Steve. Unfortunately I didnt disconnect the battery so it looks like I need Vagcom or VCDS to clear this. Does anyone know around Bracknell (berkshire/hampshire/bucks) that might be able to help?
