Newbie - electrical question

Hi all, am trying to find out if wiring pre-exists on the inside bottom of the front doors to fit puddle lights as there are no lights currently fitted there, but a cut out area is indicated on the door card.

Some did and some didn't. I know that's vague, but the best way to find out is to take the door card off to see. If not I believe fitting them isn't too difficult.
