I'd recommend Audi roof bars due to the quality. Can't comment on on roofboxes though unfortunately. But you can hire roofboxes rather than buying them if that helps? 

Where in Europe are you going to if you don't mind me asking? 

I was hoping to do a European roadtrip this year but I can't see it happening thanks to the restrictions.
