Coolant stays warm for much longer than normal. I suspect the cooling fan is at fault. Any ideas

So, the coolant appears to stay warmer for much longer than normal and also seems to heat to operating temperature much quicker. Should I be concerned ? The car isn't overheating and drives normally. I've checked thoroughly for coolant leaks and found none. It is also not losing coolant. I suspect the cooling fan relay may be broken or perhaps the coolant needs to be flushed. Can anyone shed some light on this ? Thanks. 

Ps. There are no warning lights and it warms to operating temperature in about 6km of easy driving. This would normally be closer to 9 or 10km.

If you are saying the engine takes longer to cool after it has been turned off, and warm up time is shorter, then I don't believe there is anything wrong and they are just the result of warmer summer weather.

Everything else in your report is perfectly normal.

???   I find this a rather strange question ..   But as Cliffcoggin says,  It'll be down to the warmer Summer temperatures.

Thanks for the replies. This is my first time owning an audi and a diesel engine and I've only had it since November of last year so I reckon it probably is just the summer temperatures and I'm worried about nothing.

You're welcome, and thanks for responding. Few are courteous enough to do so nowadays.

Diesels are heavier and stronger than similarly sized petrol engines. All that extra metal takes longer to cool down.
