Air con stopped working

Air con has stopped working on my 8r Q5, only 80k mileage.

Tried getting it re gassed but no join. Garage said it’s likely either the condenser or compressor needing replaced.

Any one got any idea of the cost of this work. I was told the front had to come off hence an expensive repair.

Have you looked at extensive threads on air con. issues and pressure switches?

Thanks Gareth, as mentioned on the forum diagnostics highlighted the pressure switch which was easily changed, now all good with aircon working again.
