Centre arm rest

Just purchased a q5 sportback s line with comfort and soundpack but the centre arm rest doesnt adjust, its either all the way up or all the way down, ie as soon as you put your arm on it it will return to the lowest position. My previous q5 was adjustable. Is this right? (UK btw)

Yes that's right. 

I've read on this site (or possibly myaudiq5.com) that the adjustable arm rest is an optional extra. 

It's a pretty petty move by Audi IMO.

I searched for a solution for a long time, and the only option that works perfectly is from https://matkits.pl/en. I ordered the retrofit kit from them, and it fits perfectly!
Highly recommend it, it's definitely worth it!
